Abstract

Glukoza oksidaza komercijalno se koristi za proizvodnju glukonske kiseline i kao konzervans u prehrambenoj industriji. U ovom radu ispitana je mogućnost primjene glukoza oksidaze za provedbu biotransformacije u mikroreaktoru. Provedene su biotransformacije u tri različita mikroreaktora pri različitim ulaznim koncentracijama kisika (cu,kisik = 0,186 mmol dm-3, 0,271 mmol dm-3). Maksimalna konverzija od X = 23 % postignuta je pri većoj koncentraciji kisika za vrijeme zadrţavanja od 24 s u mikroreaktoru sa hrapavim stjenkama i mikromješalima. Analiza strujanja u dvofaznom sustavu plin-kapljevina u mikroreaktoru pokazala je da pri niţim protocima dominira segmentirano strujanje, a pri višim protocima anularno strujanje. Na osnovu korelacijskih modela izračunate su vrijednosti koeficijenta efektivne difuzivnosti za glukozu i glukoza oksidazu koji su uključeni u matematički model difuzije u mikroreaktoru. Uočeno je bolje slaganje rezultata simulacije modela s eksperimentalnim podatcima dobivenim za glukozu.

Abstract (english)

Glucose oxidase from A. niger is commercaly used used for the production of gluconic acid and as a preservative in the food industry. In this work possibility of glucose oxidase usage for biotransformation in a microreactor is tested. Glucose oxidase catalyzed glucose biotransformations were carried out in three different microreactors at the different inlet oxygen concentrations (coxygen = 0.186 mmol dm-3, 0.271 mmol dm-3). The maximum conversion X = 23 % was achieved at the higher oxygen concentration after 24 s in the microreactor with rough walls and microcromixers. Flow profile analysis in two phase gasliquid system in a microreactor reveled that at low flow rates segmented profile is dominant and with the increase of flow rates annular profile appears. Using correlation models effective diffusion coefficients for glucose and glucose oxidase were calculated and included into mathematical model of diffusion in a microreactor. It was noticed that better description of experimental data was obtained for glucose
