Abstract

Cilj ovog rada bio je procijeniti rizik za pojavu ortoreksije među studentima. Za procjenu rizika korištena je anketa po Steven Bratmanu, koja je provedena putem društvene mreže. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 125 ispitanika od kojih je bilo 79% žena i 21% muškaraca prosječne dobi 22 godine. Ispitanici koji su imali više od 5 potvrdih odgovora procijenjeni su kao rizična skupina za oboljenje od ortoreksije. U ovom istraživanju takvih je bilo 21%. Ispitanici u kojih je procijenjen rizik za ortoreksiju ne razlikuju se statistički značajno od ostalih ispitanika s obzirom na prehrambene navike, tjelesnu aktivnost i indeks tjelesne mase (ITM).

Abstract (english)

The aim of this study was to assess the risk of orthorexia among students. Risk assessment survey was used which was designed by Steven Bratman. The study included 125 patients, of which there were 99 women and 26 men. Respondents who had more than 5 positively responses were assessed as a risk group for the disease of orthorexia. Respondents estimated that the risk of Orthorexia amount to 21% of the tested population. Respondents who estimated the risk does not differ much from the other participants in eating habits and physical activity. Also, participants who are at risk for orthorexia have similar BMI values to those who do not have that risk.
