Abstract

Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati utjecaj lokacije rasta na količinu ukupnih flavonoida, hidroksicimetnih kiselina i flavonola kod listova i bobica tršlje (Pistacia lentiscus). Nakon provedene ultrazvučne ekstrakcije, masene koncentracije ukupnih flavonoida, hidroksicimetnih kiselina i flavonola određivane su spektrofotometrijskim metodama. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na značajno veće koncentracije svih promatranih spojeva u listovima tršlje u odnosu na bobice. U listovima i bobicama s Hvara zabilježena je najveća koncentracija ukupnih flavonoida, u vrijednosti 16,49 mg QE/g kod listova i 2,71 mg QE/g kod bobica. Na istoj lokaciji određene su i najveće koncentracije flavonola, u iznosu od 9,02 mg QE/g kod listova i 4,64 mg QE/g kod bobica. Hidroksicimetne kiseline su u najvećoj koncentraciji pronađene u listovima sa Korčule, u iznosu 7,29 mg CAE/g i bobicama iz Barbarige u vrijednosti 3,98 mg CAE/g. Razlog varijabilosti u rezultatima može se pripisati geografskom položaju i klimatskim uvjetima lokacije.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of growth location on the amount od total flavonoids, hydroxycinnamic acids and flavonols in leaves and berries of mastic tree (Pistacia lentiscus). After ultrasound extraction, mass concentrations of total flavonoids, hydroxycinnamic acids and flavonols were determined by spectrophotometric methods. The obtained results indicate significantly higher concentrations of all the observed compounds in leaves compared to berries. The highest concentrations of total flavonoids were identified in leaves and berries from Hvar, leaves contain 9,02 mg QE/g while berries contain 4,64 mg QE/g. At the same location, the highest concentrations of flavonols were determined in the amount of 9.02 mg QE/g in leaf and 4.64 mg QE/g in berries. The highest concentration of hydroxycinnamic acids is identified at leaves from island Korčula in amount of 7,29 mg CAE/g while the berries from Barbariga carry an amount of 3,98 mg CAE/g. The cause of such variability in results can be attributed to geographical location and climatic conditions of those places.
