Abstract

U novije vrijeme pojavila se sve veća potreba za provođenjem različitih vrsta analiza u medu i pčelinjim proizvodima koji se, osim zbog svoje nutritivne vrijednosti, često koriste i zbog pozitivnih učinaka na zdravlje. Imunoenzimska ELISA metoda (engl. Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay) svoju primjenu u analitici meda i pčelinjih proizvoda, prema podacima iz dostupne znanstvene literature, pronalazi u određivanju proteina i peptida koji potiču od pčela, kao što su apalbumin-1 i defenzin-1. Primjere primjene imunoenzimskih ELISA metoda u analitici meda predstavlja također i određivanje peludi određene biljne vrste, određivanje enzima, te određivanje specifičnih proteina u svrhu razlikovanja uzoraka prirodnog meda. Imunoenzimska ELISA metoda može predstavljati jedan od novorazvijenih načina za određivanje specifičnih sastojaka u svrhu unaprjeđenja kvalitete meda i pčelinjih proizvoda.

Abstract (english)

Recently, there has been a growing need to conduct various types of analyses in honey and bee products, which, in addition to their nutritional value, are often used for their positive health effects. The Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay (ELISA) finds its application in the analyses of honey and bee products, according to data from the available scientific literature, in the determination of proteins and peptides derived from bees, such as apalbumin-1 and defensin-1. Examples of the application of immunoenzyme ELISA methods in the analyses of honey are also the determination of pollen of a particular plant species, the determination of enzymes, and the determination of specific proteins for the purpose of distinguishing samples of natural honey. The Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay (ELISA) can be one of the newly developed methods for determination of specific compounds in order to improve the quality of honey and bee products.
