Abstract

Denitrificirajuća defosfatacija uz nitrit i nitrat kao akceptore elektrona i natrijev acetat kao donor elektrona istražena je u konfiguraciji procesa statički/anoksični uvjeti. Pokusi su provedeni pri N/P 2 i početnoj koncentraciji 15 mg PO4-P/L uz NO2-N kao akceptor elektrona pri omjeru C/N 3, 5 i 7, odnosno pri početnoj koncentraciji 10 mg PO4-P/L uz NO3-N kao akceptor elektrona, pri C/N 5 i 7. Nije kontroliran pH. Dokazan je unutarstanično pohranjen poliP. Unos PO4-P i uz NO2-N i uz NO3-N kao akceptore elektrona je intenzivniji tijekom prvih 15-30 minuta anoksičnih uvjeta a zatim se uklanjanje P odvijalo manjim intenzitetom. Veće uklanjanje P od 75±1% postignuto je s NO2-N, dok je s NO3-N ostvareno 43,2%-50,9% uklanjanje P. U pokusima sa NO2-N kao akceptorom elektrona su zabilježene veće brzine uklanjanja i N i P: 26,2 mg NO2-N/Lh, 26 mg NO2-N/Lh i 23 mg NO2-N/Lh, te 11,9 PO4-P/Lh, 11,7 PO4-P/Lh i 9,2 mg PO4-P/Lh pri istraženim odabranim omjerima C/N 3, 5 i 7, u odnosu na NO3-N kao akceptor elektrona kada je postignuto: 17,2 mg NO3-N/Lh i 18 mg NO3-N/Lh, te 6,9 mg PO4-P/Lh i 4,8 mg PO4-P/Lh za istražene odabrane omjere C/N 3 i 5.

Abstract (english)

Denitrifying dephosphatation via nitrite and nitrate as electron acceptors, and sodium acetate as electron donors at static/anoxic configuration of process was investigated. The experiments were carried out at ratio N/P 2, and at initial concentration of 15 mg PO4-P and at ratios C/N 3, 5, 7 with NO2-N as electron acceptors, and at initial concentration of 10 mg PO4-P and at ratios C/N 3, 5 with NO3-N as electron acceptors, respectively. pH was not controlled. Intracellular polyP was proven. The PO4-P uptake by both NO2-N and NO3-N as electron acceptors was more intense during the first 15-30 minutes of anoxic conditions, and then P removal was less intense. A higher P removal of 75±1% was achieved with NO2-N, while 43.2%-50.9% P removal was achieved with NO3-N. In experiments with NO2-N as electron acceptors, higher removal rates of both N and P were observed: 26.2 mg NO2-N/Lh, 26 mg NO2-N/Lh and 23 mg NO2-N/Lh, and 11.9 mg PO4-P/Lh, 11.7 mg PO4-P/Lh and 9.2 mg PO4-P/Lh at investigated selected C/N 3, 5 and 7 ratios relative to NO3-N as electron acceptor when the following was achieved: 17.2 mg NO3-N/Lh and 18 mg NO3-N/Lh, and 6.9 mg PO4-P/Lh and 4.8 mg PO4-P/Lh for the investigated selected C/N 3 and 5 ratios.
