Abstract

U ovom radu dan je konceptualni model piramide pravilne prehrane za dobnu skupinu od 14 do 18 godina, kod kojih je prehrana vrlo bitna za rast i razvoj. Cilj rada je bilo dobiti model piramide kojom bi se što razumljivije predočila važnost prehrane i unos pojedinih namirnica, a samim time i esencijalnih nutrijenata ciljanoj skupini, adolescentima. U radu su opisane skupine namirnica koje su navedene u vodiču pravilne prehrane u obliku piramide, te se navodi tjelesna aktivnost, tekućina, vitamini i mineralne tvari kao bitni čimbenici u razvoju mladih osoba. Rezultat, kao i zaključak rada je konceptualni model piramide koji obuhvaća skupine namirnica i serviranja, važnost vitamina i mineralnih tvari, tjelesnu aktivnost i unos tekućine za dobnu skupinu kojoj pripadaju adolescenti jer ne postoji konceptualni model pravilne prehrane za tu dobnu skupinu kojim se obuhvaća sve navedeno, a da je pri tome prilagođen svojom jednostavnošću, razumljivošću i zanimljivošću njihovim godinama.

Abstract (english)

In this paper, a conceptual model was developed as a food guide pyramid for the age group of teens (14-18 years), because their proper diet is essential for their growth and development. The aim was to present a model of the pyramid that would be understandable and is also demonstrating the importance of intake of certain foods, and thus the essential nutrients for the target group, teenagers. This paper described food groups that are listed in the food guide pyramid, as well as the physical activity, fluids, vitamins and minerals that are essential factors in the development of young people. The result is a new conceptual model in a form of a pyramid. The new model includes food groups and servings as well as information about the important intake of vitamins and minerals, importance of exercise and fluid intake, for the target group. The proposed model is suited with its simplicity, intelligibility, and their curiosity to teens, explaining what healthy nutrition for this age group is and what are important nutrients in their development, highlighting the importance of physical activity and showing what should be reduced.
