Abstract

Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je utvrditi prehrambene navike, vrijednosti indeksa tjelesne mase i krvnog tlaka kohortne skupine ispitanika tijekom perioda od 1972 do 2006 godine te konstantnost prehrambenih navika i utjecaj na krvni tlak. Istraživanja su provedena kroz dva istraživana perioda. U prvom periodu indirektno se procijenjivala konstantnost prehrambenih navika preko promjene indeksa tjelesne mase, a u drugom periodu direktno preko prehrambenih navika putem nekvantitativnog upitnika (FFQ). Konstantnost prehrambenih navika nije utvrđena, već indeks tjelesne mase promijenio u prvom periodu, a prehrambene navike u drugom periodu. Od 10 ispitivanih varijabli prehrane samo je za neke varijable utvrđen utjecaj na krvni tlak, što upućuje na potrebu daljnih istraživanja, potrebu kontrole prehrambenih navika populacije te edukaciju stanovništva o značaju prehrane.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this study was to determine dietary habits, values of body mass index and blood pressure of the cohort study group over a period of 1972 up to 2006 year and the constancy of dietary habits and their effects on blood pressure. Studies were conducted by two research periods. In the first period, the constancy of change in dietary habits was indirectly assessed by the body mass index, and in the second period, directly across the dietary habits through non-quantitative questionnaire (FFQ). Constancy of dietary habits has not been established, although body mass index changed in the first period, and dietary habits in the second period. Out of 10 variables tested, the impact on the blood pressure was determined for only a few. This indicates the need for further research, the need to control the dietary habits of the population, and education about the importance of nutrition.
