Abstract

U radu su određene karakteristike otpadnih voda Karlovačke pivovare, tijekom razdoblja od mjesec dana. Uzorci su uzimani na početku i kraju radne smjene. Određivani su parametri KPK, električna provodnost, pH i sedimentne tvari otpadnih voda. Otpadne vode uzimane su iz četri pogona: filtracije, fermentacije, pasterizatora i perilice boca. Svaki pogon odlikuje se svojim specifičnostima, pa su i otpadne vode specifične, svaka za sebe. Prosječna vrijednost KPK određena na 23 trenutna uzorka otpadne vode pasterizatora iznosila je 58,57 mgO2/l. Prosječna vrijednost KPK određena na 19 trenutnih uzoraka otpadne vode filtracije iznosila je 57,26 mgO2/l. Prosječna vrijednost KPK određena na 27 trenutnih uzoraka lužine iz perilice boca iznosila je 171 564,27 mgO2/l. Prosječna vrijednost KPK određena na 20 trenutnih uzoraka otpadne vode fermentacije iznosila je 86 537 mgO2/l. Uz određivanje parametara pratila se i potrošnja vode u svim pogonima svakog radnog dana u tjednu. Iz dobivenih podataka vidi se da se po hektolitru piva troši 5,56 hektolitara vode ( mjesec svibanj ), tj. 5,37 hektolitara vode ( mjesec lipanj ).

Abstract (english)

Characteristics of wastewaters of the brewery "Karlovačka pivovara" have been specified in period of one month. The samples have been collected at the beginning and the end of shifts. The parameters of chemical oxygen demand, electric conductivity, pH and sediment substances of wastewaters have been determined. Wastewaters have been collected from four utilities: filtration, fermentation, pasteurization and bottle cleaning machine. Wastewaters are specific, as if every utility have as distinctive features. The average value of chemical oxygen demand has been determined on 23 equality samples of wastewaters of the pasteurization unite and its average value was 58,57 mgO2/l. The average value of chemical oxygen demand has been determined on 19 equality samples of wastewaters of the filtration unite and its average value was 57,26 mgO2/l. The average value of chemical oxygen demand has been determined on 27 equality samples of alkali of the bottle cleaning machine and its average value was 171 564,27 mgO2/l. The average value of chemical oxygen demand has been determined on 20 equality samples of wastewaters of the fermentation unite and its average value was 86 537 mgO2/l.
