Abstract

Prijelaz is srednje škole na fakultet donosi velike promjene u životu pojednica, a dio tih promjena utječe i na kvalitetu prehrane. Od velike je važnosti i znanje studenata o prehrani te poboljšanje znanja može dovesti do boljeg odabira hrane. Cilj ovog rada je bio usporediti znanje o prehrani studenata studija Nutricionizam i studenata ostalih studija na Sveučilištu u Zagrebu, te isto tako, usporediti znanje o prehrani studenata studija humanističkih i društvenih znanosti u odnosu na studente studija biomedicinskih, prirodnih, biotehničkih i tehničkih znanosti. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 190 ispitanika (62 studenta nutricionizma, 128 studenata ostalih studija). Studenti nutricionizma su imali statistički značajno (p<0,001) veći prosječan broj točnih odgovora s obzirom na studente ostalih studija. Studenti studija biomedicinskih, prirodnih, biotehničkih i tehničkih znanosti su imali statistički značajno (p<0,001) veći prosječan broj točnih odgovora s obzirom na studente humanističkih i društvenih znanosti.

Abstract (english)

Transition from high school to college brings a lot of changes and some of that changes affect the quality of nutrition. Nutrition knowledge of students plays a big role and greater the knowledge the better are nutrtional choices. The aim of this study was to compare nutrition knowledge of students of the study Nutrition and other students from University of Zagreb, and also to compare nutrition knowledge of humanities and social studies students and biomedical, natural sciences and technical studies students. The study involved 190 students (62 nutrition students, 128 other students). Students of the study Nutrition had significantly (p<0,001) better average number of correct answers compared to other students. Biomedical, natural sciences and technical studies students had significantly (p<0,001) better average number of correct answers compared to humanities and social studies students.
