Abstract

Destilacija je tehnološka operacija kojom se kapljevita smjesa hlapivih komponenata isparavanjem i naknadnim ukapljivanjem para razdvaja na relativno čiste komponente. Zasniva na različitoj hlapivosti komponenata smjese kod iste temperature. U ovom radu opisana je i provedena destilacija 30%, 40% i 50%-tne otopine etanola. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je odrediti gustoću destilata, koncentraciju etanola te iskorištenje destilacione kolone. Gustoću odredimo pomoću uređaja za mjerenje gustoće, a iskorištenje destilacione kolone odredimo grafički McCabe-Thieleovim postupkom. Najbolje rezultate dobili smo kod destilacije koja provedena na temperaturi koja najbliža temperaturi vrelišta etanola.

Abstract (english)

Distillation is the technological operation which a liquid mixture of volatile components by evaporation and subsequent liquefaction couple is separated into relatively pure components. It is based on different volatility components of the mixture at the same temperature. This paper describes the distillation carried out 30%, 40% and 50% solution of ethanol. The aim of this study was to determine the density of the distillate, ethanol concentration and utilization of distillation column. We determined the density using a device for measuring the density and the use of distillation columns was defined the graphical McCabe-Thieleovim process. Best results are obtained by distillation, which was conducted at the temperature closest to the boiling point of ethanol.
