Abstract

U ovom radu promatran je nutritivni status pacijenata s alkoholnom cirozom jetre. Pacijentima se mjerila debljina nabora nadlaktice kako bi se ustanovio udio masnog tkiva, te procjenjivao unos energije i proteina koristeći 24-satno prisjećanje. Također se pratila koncentracija albumina, kreatinina i C-reaktivnog proteina te učestalost pojave komplikacija (ascites, encefalopatija, dijabetes, varices jednjaka, renalna insuficijencija). Utvrđena je niska učestalost pojave malnutricije, ali i vrlo nizak unos energije i proteina. Dobila se visoka korelacija debljine nabora nadlaktice i unosa energije odnosno proteina kod žena i muškaraca, te visoka korelacija debljine nabora nadlaktice i koncentracije albumina te BMI-a i koncentracije albumina.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis was examined nutritional status of patients with alcoholic liver disease. The patiens were evaluated meassuring triceps skinfold thickness and energy and protein intake using 24-hour recall. It was also monitored concentration albumine, creatinine and CRP in serum, as well as frequency of complications (ascites, encefalopaty, renal insuficiency, diabetes, esofagal varices). There was a low incidence of malnutrition, but also low energy and protein intake. There was a high correlation between triceps skinfold thickness and the energy and protein intake in both men and women, and high correlation betwen triceps skinfold thickness and albumin concentration and also between BMI and albumin.
