Abstract

Cilj završnog rada bio je analizirati znanstvene publikacije/spoznaje u kojima je istraživano djelovanje hrane u djece s autoimunim bolestima. Uz pretraživanje znanstvene literature vezane uz zadanu temu, odrađena je i praksa u Klinici za dječje bolesti, Klaićeva 16, Zagreb u Imunološko-reumatološkoj ambulanti doc.dr.sc. Alenke Gagro, koja je omogućila susret s bolesnicima koji boluju od autoimunih bolesti (najčešće juvenilnog idiopatskog artritisa) kako bi se približilo temi, odnosno problematici s kojom se susreću sami bolesnici te njihovi roditelji. Najviše se istraživao protuupalni učinak najčešćih sastojaka mediteranske prehrane (omega-3 masne kiseline; ulje jaglaca i boreča; mediteranske biljke: boreč, menta, kapar, crni sljez, divlja rotkva; Ca; vitamin D) te indijskog začina kurkumina. Znanstveno potvrđenim činjenicama možemo bolesnicima svakako preporučiti mediteransku prehranu, odnosno prehranu bogatu omega-3 masnim kiselinama, Ca, vitaminom D, vitaminom C i kurkuminom, koja im može pomoći u smanjenju posljedica bolesti.

Abstract (english)

The aim of the final work was to analyze the scientific publications/knowledge in which was examined the effect of food in children with autoimmune disease. In addition to searching the scientific literature related to the default theme the practise is done in Children's hospital, Klaiceva 16, Zagreb, in the Immune-rheumatology ambulance of doc.dr.sc. Alenka Gagro. That was the opportunity to meet patients who suffer from autoimmune diseases (the most from juvenile idiopathic arthritis), get closer with theme and everyday problems of patients and their families. The most studied was anti-inflammatory effect of the most common components of Mediterranean diet (omega-3 fatty acids; primrose and borago oil; mediterranean plants: fighter, mint, caper, common mallow ,wild radish; Ca; vitamin D) and in connection with the Indian spice curcumin. With scientifically verified facts we can recommend the Mediterranean diet to the patients i.e. diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids, Ca, vitamin D, vitamin C and curcumin that could help them to reduce the consequences of disease.
