Abstract

Eutektična otapala predstavljaju novu generaciju otapala širokog područja primjene. Smatraju se manje toksičnom alternativom ionskih kapljevina. Eutektična otapala sastavljena su od amonijevih soli i donora vodikovih veza, a temperatura tališta ovakve smjese znatno je niţa od one pojedinih sastavnih komponenata. U ovom radu ispitan je utjecaj osam sintetiziranih eutektičnih otapala na MCF-7 staničnu liniju MTS metodom. Otapala nisu pokazala inhibitorni učinak na rast stanica, što potvrĎuje pretpostavku da su to nova zelena, netoksična otapala boljeg ekotoksikološkog profila nego druga alternativna otapala.

Abstract (english)

Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) are considered to be a new generation of solvents with a broad range of applications and seems to be a less toxic alternative to ionic liquids. DESs are composed of ammonium salts and H-bond donors. The melting point of eutectic mixture is much lower than that of either of its components. In this final work, the impact of eight synthetized DESs on MCF-7 cell line was examined using MTS method. Solvents have not shown inhibitory effect on cell growth, what confirms the assumption that DESs are new generation of green solvents, usually non toxic and with a better ecotoxicological profile than other alternative solvents.
