Abstract

Primjena zelene kemije u proizvodnji komercijalno zanimljivih organskih spojeva sve više raste, zbog štetnih utjecaja industrijske proizvodnje na okoliš i ljude primjenom konvencionalnih metoda. Stoga, prirodna eutektička otapala i provođenje reakcija upotrebom biokatalizatora postaju zanimljiva alternativa za do sada korištena hlapiva organska otapala i klasične kemijske sinteze. U ovom radu ispitana je mogućnost primjene dva biokatalizatora (lipaza B i korijen mrkve) za enantioselektivnu hidrolizu (R,S)-1-feniletil acetata u prirodnim eutektičkim otapalima na bazi kolin-klorida. Uspješno je provedena hidroliza u prirodnim eutektičkim otapalima koja su se pokazala boljima s obzirom na konvencionalna organska otapala, prema svim ispitanim parametrima (ɳ, ee, VP i VE). Zaključuje se da su prirodna eutektička otapala moguća zamjena za organska otapala u ispitanim reakcijskim uvjetima.

Abstract (english)

The application of green chemistry in the production of commercially interesting organic compounds is growing, due to the adverse effects of industrial production on the environment and people by using conventional methods. Therefore, natural deep eutectic solvents and performing reactions by biocatalyst are becoming an interesting alternative to volatile organic solvents and classical chemical synthesis. In this study, the application of two biocatalysts (lipase B and carrot root) for enantioselective hydrolysis of (R,S)-1-phenylethyl acetate within cholinum-based natural deep eutectic solvents was performed. All enantioselective reactions in natural deep eutectic solvents were successfully conducted, and those solvents were superior to organic solvents, according to all tested parameters (ɳ, ee, VP and VE). Based on results, we can conclude that NADES are excellent candidates for replacement of common organic solvents in tested reaction conditions.
