Abstract

Ovo istraživanje provedeno je s ciljem definiranja optimalnih uvjeta fototrofnog uzgoja alge Euglene gracilis i proizvodnje lipida. Fototrofni uzgoj je proveden šaržno u fotobioreaktoru s miješalom na modificiranoj Hutnerovoj hranjivoj podlozi s glukozom i etanolom. U ovom istraživanju proučavan je utjecaj procesnih parametara sustava (protok zraka, brzina rotacije miješala i valna duljina svjetlosti) s ciljem definiranja optimalnih uvjeta za uzgoj alge E. gracilis i proizvodnje lipida.

Abstract (english)

This study was conducted to define optimal conditions of phototrophic growth of algae Euglena gracilis and the production of lipids. Phototrophic batch cultivation was carried out in stirred tank photobioreactor on the modified Hutner's nutrient medium with glucose and ethanol. During this research the effect of operational bioreactor parameters (air flow, stirrer speed and light wave length) on the growth of algae E. gracilis and lipid production was studied in order to define optimal conditions for both processes.
