Abstract | Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi kakvoću prehrane trudnica. Istraživanjem je obuhvaćeno 104 ispitanice u dobi od 20 do 40 godina, koje su podijeljene u dvije dobne skupine. Prosječna nutritivna vrijednost cijelodnevnog obroka trudnica utvrđena je na osnovi podataka o unosu hrane trodnevnim dnevnikom prehrane. Procjena energetskog i nutritivnog unosa izražena je s obzirom na referentni prehrambeni unos za navedenu populacijsku skupinu (DRI). Utvrđeno je da je prosječni dnevni unos energije i dijetalnih vlakana manji, a unos ostalih makronutrijenata veći od preporuka. Neadekvatan unos mikronutrijenata utvrđen je za vitamin A i E, folat, kalcij, željezo, magnezij, cink i kalij. Utvrđena je statistički značajna razlika prosječnog dnevnog unosa vitamina B3 i vitamina K s obzirom na dob. |

Parallel abstract (English) | The aim of this study was to assess diet quality in pregnant women. The study included 104 pregnant women, aged 20 to 40 years, who were divided in two age groups. Average dietary intake was determined by using three day food diary. Dietary assessment was done by comparing the dietary intake to DRI values. The results showed that the median energy and fiber intakes are below the recommended levels, while the median dietary intake of other macronutrients is above the recommended levels. The median dietary intakes of vitamin A and E, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, zink and potassium were inadequate. It has been established that there is a statistically significant difference for median intakes of vitamin B3 and vitamin K, between these two age groups. |
