Abstract

Cilj rada bio je ispitati antimikrobnu učinkovitost kemijskih dezinficijenasa Plivasept tinkture i Etanola 70% u propisanom kontaktnom vremenu na test mikroorganizmima Acinetobacter lwoffii i Micrococcus luteus inokuliranih na pločicama od metala i stakla. Za ispitivanje antimikrobne učinkovitost dezinficijenasa korišten je kvantitativni test na neporoznoj površini čija je prednost pred ostalim metodama potpuna simulacija uvjeta iz proizvodnog pogona gdje se ispitivani dezinficijensi koriste, u laboratoriju. Iz dobivenih rezultata zaključeno je da su Plivasept tinktura i Etanol 70% antimikrobno učinkoviti dezinficijensi u propisanom kontaktnom vremenu te da je Plivasept tinktura antimikrobno učinkovitiji dezinficijens od Etanola 70% što je u skladu sa očekivanjima. Test mikroorganizmi nisu pokazali razliku u otpornosti na antimikrobnu učinkovitost pojedinog dezinficijensa. Materijali (metal i staklo) od kojih su napravljene pločice za inokulaciju test mikroorganizama također nisu pokazali utjecaj na antimikrobnu učinkovitost ispitivanih dezinficijenasa.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this graduate thesis was to assess antimicrobial efficiency of the Plivasept tincture and 70% ethanol as disinfectants upon Acinetobacter lwoffii and Micrococcus luteus inoculated onto the metal and glass plates, in a prescribed time interval. The quantitative test on a non-porous surfaces was used for the evaluation of the antimicrobial efficiency. The advantage of this method among the other is the complete simulation of the native conditions that exist in production plant, where the tested disinfectants are usually used. According to the results, it can be concluded that Plivasept tincture and 70% ethanol were found effective as antimicrobial agents in the tested time intervals. The Plivasept tincture was found more effective than 70% ethanol, which could have been expected. The tested microorganisms have not shown the difference at the resistance upon the antimicrobial efficacy of the single disinfectant. Metal and glass, used as the materials of which the plates were made, have not shown the influence onto the antimicrobial efficiency of the tested disinfectants.
