Abstract

Ionske tekućine su kvaterne soli koje predstavljaju značajan potencijal za industrijsku primjenu kao “zelena” zamjena za štetna hlapljiva organska otapala. Posebno se upotrebljavaju imidazolijeve ionske tekućine zbog njihovih jedinstvenih fizikalnih i kemijskih svojstava. Cilj ovog rada bila je sinteza biskvaternih ionskih tekućina. Reakcijom kvaternizacije 1-(3-aminopropil)imidazola sa bromklormetanom, dijodmetanom, 1,2-dibrometanom i 1,3-dibrompropanom pripravljene su četiri (4) nove, do sada neobjavljene, biskvaterne soli. Strukture spojeva [1]-[4] određene su pomoću podataka dobivenih IR-spektroskopijom te 1H- i 13C- nuklearno-magnetskom rezonancijom.

Abstract (english)

Ionic liquids are quaternary salts that have significant potential for industrial use as "green" replacements for harmful volatile organic solvents. Imidazolium ionic liquids are widely used in a variety of applications due to their unique physical and chemical properties. The aim of this work was synthesis of bisquaternary imidazolium ionic liquids. In this work four (4) novel, yet not published, bisquaternary ionic liquids were synthesized by quaternization of 1-(3-aminopropyl) imidazole with bromochloromethane, diiodomethane, 1,2-dibromoethane and 1,3-dibromopropane. The structures of new compounds [1] – [4] were determined according to the data obtained by IR-spectroscopy, as well as 1H- and 13C- nuclear magnetic resonance.
