Abstract

Praćena je proizvodnja inaktiviranog i disociranog cjepiva protiv newcastleske bolesti. Virus je inaktiviran formaldehidom i disociran ne-ionskim detergentom Tween 80. Cjepivo je pripravljeno standardnim postupkom uz sterilnu filtraciju i formulirano u obliku emulzije tipa voda-u-ulju-u-vodi (VUVE) sa malim sadržajem mineralnog ulja. Ispitivan je imunološki odziv pilića cijepljenih ovim cjepivom. Nađeno je da potiče tvorbu protutijela u zadovoljavajućem titru. Također je ustanovljeno da sterilna filtracija ne utječe na gubitak antigena. Elektroforezom je dokazana prisutnost virusnih glikoproteina u cjepivu.

Abstract (english)

Production of inactivated and dissociated vaccine against Newcastle disease was followed. After inactivation of the virus with formaldehyde, dissociation with non-ionic detergent Tween 80 was carried out. Vaccine was produced by standard procedure with sterile filtration and formulated in the form of water-inoil- in-water emulsion (WOWE) with a low content of mineral oil. Immune response of chickens vaccinated with this vaccine was investigated. It was found that it generates a satisfactory titer of antibodies. It was also found that sterile filtration has no effect on loss of the antigen. The presence of viral glycoproteins in vaccine was determined by electrophoresis.
