Abstract

U radu je istraživana mogućnost obrade otpadne vode punionice voćnih sokova. Otpadna voda je obrađivana u šaržnom laboratorijskom bioreaktoru, a zatim u membranskom bioreaktoru s uronjenom membranom na lokaciji ispuštanja otpadne vode. I laboratorijskim bioreaktorom i membranskim bioreaktorom postignuto je učinkovito i stabilno uklanjanje organskih tvari iz otpadne vode tvornice. Uz pomoć uronjene membrane aktivni mulj je uspješno zadržavan u membranskom bioreaktoru zbog čega je postignuta stabilna koncentracija biomase aktivnog mulja. U otpadnoj vodi koja je obrađivana aktivnim muljem koncentracije 9 - 11 gL-1 u laboratorijskom bioreaktoru tijekom 24 sata TOC i KPK su smanjeni za 95% pri čemu je najveći utjecaj na uspješnost obrade imala koncentracija aktivnog mulja u bioreaktoru. Obradom otpadne vode tvornice s visokom koncentracijom otpadnih tvari (1000-3500 mgO2L-1) MBR pilot postrojenjem u realnim uvjetima postignuta je učinkovitost uklanjanja KPK i TOC od 97% uz vrijeme zadržavanja 8 h, dok je vrijeme zadržavanja od 5 h-1 bilo nedovoljno za učinkovitu obradu.

Abstract (english)

Paper investigates the possibility of the fruit juice bottling plant wastewater treatment. Wastewater was treated with activated sludge in laboratory conditions using a small scale bioreactor, and then in a bioreactor with an immersed membrane on location of the plant wastewater outlet. With both bioreactors effective and stable removal of organic compounds was achieved. Activated sludge was successfully held within bioreactor by immersed membrane, and therefore the stable amount of activated sludge biomass was obtained (9 – 11 gL-1). In wastewater treated in laboratory bioreactor, COD and TOC were removed 95% during 24 hour period. The most important parameter in purification was activated sludge concentration. Treatment of the real wastewater by MBR achieved 97% decrease in both COD and TOC concentration for wastewater containing 1000-3500 mgO2L-1 of COD and for 8 hours hydraulic retention time (HRT) while 5 hours HRT was insufficient for effective purification.
