Abstract

U ovom radu određivane su hidrodinamičke karakteristike membranskog bioreaktora s uronjenom okvirno pločastom membranom. Hidrodinamika membranskog bioreaktora može biti analizirana pomoću odgovarajućeg modela koji se temelji na određivanju raspodjele vremena zadržavanja. Eksperimenti su provedeni injektiranjem inerta u bioreaktor i mjerenjem vodljivosti u izlaznom toku iz bioreaktora. U eksperimentima je korištena demineralizirana voda i aktivni mulj uzet iz uređaja za obradu gradske otpadne komunalne vode, te otopina NaCl kao inert. Rezultati prosječnog vremena zadržavanja u eksperimentima s demineraliziranom vodom bez prisutnosti mulja pokazali su jako dobro poklapanje s modelom idealnog reaktora, dok su eksperimenti s muljem pokazali velika odstupanja. Može se zaključiti je da određivanje hidrodinamike u membranskom bioreaktoru s uronjenom okvirno pločastom membranom ispunjenom muljem zahtjeva detaljnije proučavanje i primjenu drugih modela strujanja tekućine. Čepljenje membrane i njeno čišćenje praćeno je određivanjem permeabilnosti membrane i određivanjem kritičnog fluksa.

Abstract (english)

In this work are determined hydrodynamic characteristics of membrane bioreactor with a submerged plate frame unit. Membrane bioreactor hydrodynamics can be analyzed by a model that is based on experimental determination of residence time distribution. Experiments were conducted by injection of an inert into bioreactor and monitoring electrical conductivity at the exit flow of the bioreactor. In the experiments was applied demineralized water and activated sludge from a municipal waste treatment plant, and a solution of NaCl was applied as a tracer. Results of average residence time in experiments with water without presence of sludge have shown a very good agreement with the model of ideal reactor, but results in experiments with active sludge have not shown any similarity with the ideal model. It can be concluded that for determination pf hydrodynamics in plate frame membrane bioreactor filled with active sludge demands a more detailed study and use of other and more complex flow models. Membrane fouling and cleaning was monitored by determination of membrane permeability and critical flux determination.
