Abstract

U svrhu istraživanja procesa čepljenja membrane u membranskom bioreaktoru s uronjenom membranom određivane su filtracijske karakteristike okvirne, pločaste membrane XJ3 tvrtke Kubota. Fenomen kritičnog fluksa se smatra kao uvjerljiv parametar za karakterizaciju čepljenja. U ovom radu vrijednosti kritičnog fluksa određivane su pomoću metode skokomićnih promjena kritičnog fluksa pri različitim uvjetima rada. Kako bi se dobile vjerodostojnije informacije i podaci o stabilnosti i reverzibilnosti čepljna, eksperimenti su provođeni metodom histerze, odnosno metoda skokovitih promjena fluksa provođena je u uzlaznom i silaznom smjeru u vremenskim intervalima od 15 minuta.

Abstract (english)

To investigate membrane fouling process in submerged membrane bioreactor, filtrating characteristics of plate and frame XJ3 membrane by Kubota were determined. The phenomena of critical flux has been considered as convenient parameter for characterising fouling. In this paper critical flux values have been determined using the flux-step method for different operating conditions. To achieve more precise information and data of stability and reversibility of fouling, experiments were based on hysteresis, meaning that flux-step method was carried out upwords and downwords for a flux-step duration of 15 min.
