Abstract

U ovom istraživanju proveden je uzgoj biomase bakterije Azotobacter chroococcum za pripremu biološkog gnojiva. Proces optimizacije sastava kompleksne hranjive podloge proveden je da bi se odredio sastav koji je najadekvatniji za uzgoj bakterije u bioreaktoru. Tijekom ovog istraživanja za uzgoj bakterije A. chroococcum primjenjene su različite tehnike uzgoja (šaržni uzgoj, šaržni uzgoj s pritokom supstrata i polukontinuirani uzgoj), a njihovom međusobnom usporedbom na osnovi pokazatelja uspješnosti bioprocesa utvrđeno je da je polukontinuirani uzgoj najefikasniji način uzgoja, te stoga najadekvatniji za industrijsku primjenu.

Abstract (english)

In this investigation cultivation of Azotobacter chroococcum was done in order to use bacterial biomass for biofertilizers preparation. Optimization of complex medium content was performed to define the most appropiate medium content for bacterium cultivation in bioreactor. In this research, different cultivation techniques were used for cultivation of bacterium A. chroococcum (batch, fed batch and repeated batch). Comparison between these cultivation techniques was done on the basis of bioprocess eficiency parameters and it was observed that repeated batch technique is the most efficient and appropriate for use in industrial scale.
