Abstract

Cilj rada bio je procjeniti prehrambene navike i tjelesnu aktivnost članova obitelji i njihov međusobni utjecaj naročito između roditelja i djece, kao i međusobni utjecaj supružnika. Upotrebljena dijetetička metoda bila je kvantitativni upitnik o učestalosti konzumiranja hrane i pića (Q-FFQ) (n=91).Rezultati pokazuju da je između supružnika neočekivano prehrana muškaraca više u skladu sa adekvatnim preporukama u odnosu na žene, iako oboje unose previše proteina naspram RDA preporuka i zasićenih masnih kiselina naspram općih prehrambenih preporuka. Među supružnicima nije nađena statistički značajna korelacuja s obzirom na unos makro i mikro nutrijenata, osim za unos kolesterola i vitamina C. Tjelesne aktivnosti ne pokazuju korelaciju kod supružnika.Unutar obitelji utvrđen je najveći utjecaj između majki i kćeri (n=21) u dnevnom unosu nutrijenata, dok kod sinova i majki (n=5) nema značajne korelacije osim za vitamin A i cink. U ovim skupinama nije nađena korelacija za parametre tjelesne aktivnosti.Preporuča se veća učestalost zajutraka, manji unos proteina, lipida (posebno zasićenih masnih kiselina) i češća tjelesna aktivnost.

Abstract (english)

The aim of the study was to evaluate dietary habits and physical activities of the members of the family, particularly to estimate inter-relationships between parents and children, and influence between spouses. The dietary assessment method used was quantitative FFQ (Q-FFQ) (n=91).Results showed that diet of the husband is more adequate with recommendations than the diet of the wife, although both take more proteins than RDA recommends and more saturated fatty acids than it is recommended. There is no statistically significant correlation between spouses in case of micro and macronutrients intake; except for the intake of cholesterol and vitamin C. Physical activities do not show any statistically significant correlation between spouses.The most significant influence inside the family was identified between mothers and daughters (n=21) in daily nutrient intake. On the other hand there is no significant correlation between sons and mothers (n=5) except in vitamin A and zinc intakes. These groups showed no correlation for the physical activities parameters. The recommendations are to increase breakfast frequency, lower protein and fat intakes (particularly of saturated fatty acids) and more physical activities.
