Abstract

Otpadna voda punionice voćnih sokova pročišćavana je u membranskom bioreaktoru s uronjenom membranom. Rezultati mjerenja su praćeni kroz 18 radnih dana. Membranskim bioreaktorom je postignuto učinkovito i stabilno uklanjanje organskih tvari iz otpadne vode tvornice (KPK=94 %, TOC=93.5 %, BPK5=98 %). Uz pomoć uronjene membrane aktivni mulj je uspješno zadržavan u membranskom bioreaktoru i zbog toga je postignuta stabilna količina biomase aktivnog mulja usprkos velikih fluktuacija pH vrijednosti i visokim koncentracijama prisutnih organskih soli u otpadnoj vodi tvornice. Bez obzira na već prisutno začepljenje membrane, korištenjem povratnog pranja i održavanjem konstantnog protoka i aeracije, postignuta je stabilna i nesmetana filtracija. Najveći utjecaj na začepljivanje membrane je imalo stvaranje kamenca, dok su organske tvari imale manji utjecaj.

Abstract (english)

Wastewater from bottling fruit juices was purified in membrane bioreactor with immersed membrane. Research results were logged for 18 days. Over that period, membrane bioreactor achieved effective and stable organic compounds removal out of facility wastewater (COD=94 %, TOC=93.5 %, BOD5= 98 %). Activated sludge was successfully repressed in membrane bioreactor by immersed membrane, and therefore the stable amount of activated sludge biomass was achieved, in spite of large pH values fluctuations and great concentration of present organic salts in facility wastewater. Notwithstanding present membrane fouling, stable and high quality filtration was obtained by using of back-wash and maintaining constant flow and aeration. The strongest influence on membrane fouling had the limestone generation. On the other hand, the impact of organic compounds on fouling was smaller.
