Abstract

Analiza hidrodinamike membranskog bioreaktora, koji je sastavni dio poluindustrijskog postrojenja za obradu otpadnih voda, temelji se na eksperimentalnim rezultatima testa provedenog uvođenjem inertne tvari u bioreaktor koji su prikazani kao raspodjela vremena zadržavanja. Dobiveni eksperimentalni rezultati uspoređivani su s podacima za idealni reaktor te su primijećena neznatna odstupanja od idealnog miješanja. Dodatkom aktivnog mulja u bioreaktor, došlo je do čepljenja membrane. Raspodjelu vremena zadržavanja nije bilo moguće određivati te se pratila permeabilnost membrane prije i nakon dodatka aktivnog mulja. Iz dobivenih rezultata vidljivo je da se postignuta permeabilnost po završetku čišćenja približila vrijednosti permeabilnosti za čistu membranu. Dobiveni rezultati bit će korišteni za dimenzioniranje i optimiranje sustava obrade otpadnih voda membranskom tehnologijom u realnim uvjetima.

Abstract (english)

Analysis of hydrodynamics characteristics of membrane bioreactor, which is a part of water treatment pilot plant, are based on experimental test results by injection a tracer in bioreactor and are presented as residence time distribution. Experimental results were compared with data for ideal reactor and slight variations from ideal mixing have been noticed. After addition of activated sludge in membrane bioreactor, membrane fouling occured. It was impossible to determine residence time distribution and membrane fouling was monitored by measuring permeability before and after addition of activated sludge. Obtained results show that achieved permeability, after the end of cleaning process, approached the value for a clean membrane. Obtained results can be used for scale up and optimisation of membrane bioreactor water treatment plant in a real system.
