Abstract

Prekomjerna tjelesna masa i pretilost znatan su dio svjetskih zdravstvenih problema današnjice. Razvijaju se pod utjecajem genetskih i metaboličkih faktora, socijalno – kulturološke sredine i nepravilnih životnih navika te se definiraju kao višak masnog tkiva. Cilj rada bio je prikupiti i analizirati antropometrijske podatke oba spola koji pripadaju generacijama rođenim 1995. – 1997. godine, te su mjereni na sistematskom pregledima od prvog razreda osnovne do srednje škole. Mjerene vrijednosti visine, tjelesne mase, dobi i spola služile su za dobivanje odgovarajućih percentila pomoću percentilnih CDC krivulja. Krivuljama distribucije određenog parametra populacije primijećeno odstupanje od standardne Gaussovie razdiobe. Udio djece s prekomjernom tjelesnom masom i pretilosti u istoj generaciji raste s porastom dobi.

Abstract (english)

Excessive body mass and obesity are a significant part of today's world health problems. They are developed under the influence of genetic and metabolic factors, social and cultural environment and irregular living habits and are defined as excess fat tissue. The aim of the paper was to collect and analyze the anthropometric data of both sexes belonging to generations born 1995-1997 and measured during their systematic exams from the first grade of elementary to high school. Measured values of height, body mass, age and sex were used to obtain the appropriate percentile by means of percentiles using CDC growing chart curves. The distribution curves of a given population parameter observed the deviation from the standard Gaussian distribution. The share of children with excessive body mass and obesity in the same generation grows with increasing age.
