Abstract

U radu su određivane koncentracije fuzarijskih mikotoksina (T-2 toksina, deoksinivalenola, zearalenona i fumonizina) u uzorcima kukuruza, ječma i pšenice prikupljenih na području sjeverozapadne Hrvatske tijekom berbe 2011. godine. Mikotoksini koje proizvode plijesni roda Fusarium česti su kontaminanti žitarica koje rastu u umjerenom klimatskom području. U po 20 uzoraka kukuruza, ječma i pšenice određene su koncentracije navedenih mikotoksina validiranom ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) metodom. Ukupno je provedeno 240 analiza, a dobiveni rezultati su statistički obrađeni u programu STATISTICA ver. 6.1., StatSoft Inc. 1984-2003 USA, na razini statističke značajnosti p<0,05. Prema podacima Državnog hidrometorološkog zavoda, 2011. godina je na području sjeverozapadne Hrvatske okarakterizirana kao ekstremno sušna i ekstremno topla, vrlo topla i manjim dijelom topla te u skladu s tim klimatskim uvjetima su i vrijednosti koncentracija fuzarijskih mikotoksina u analiziranim žitaricama niske.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis, concentrations of Fusarium mycotoxins (T-2 toxin, deoxynivalenol, zearalenone and fumonisins) were determined in the samples of maize, barley and wheat collected in Northwest Croatia. Mycotoxins produced by Fusarium species are common contaminants of cereals in temperate climates. In 20 samples of maize, barley and wheat each, concentrations of specified mycotoxins were validated by ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) method. The total of 240 analyses were conducted and results were statistically analysed using the program STATISTICA, ver. 6.1., StatSoft Inc. 1984-2003 USA, with the level of statistical significance set at p<0,05. Based on the data of the Meteorological and Hydrological Institute of Croatia, in 2011 Northwest Croatia was characterised by extremely dry and extremely hot, very hot and partially hot weather. In line with these weather conditions, concentration values of Fusarium mycotoxins in analysed cereals were low.
