Abstract

U ovom radu opisani su sinteza i konformacijska svojstva ferocenskog alkohola 2 (HO2HC-Fn-NHBoc) koji se dobiva redukcijom esterske skupine ferocenske aminokiseline (Fca, 1) u prisustvu LiAlH4. Da bi se ispitao utjecaj dobivene hidroksilne skupine pri tvorbi intramolekulskih vodikovih veza (IHB) na konformacijski prostor koji ferocenski alkohol zauzima u otopini, provedena je spektroskopska analiza (IR- i NMR-spektroskopija). Kristalografskom analizom kao i DFT modeliranjem u čvrstom stanju, ispitana je mogućnost tvorbe IHB u čvrstom stanju. Pokazalo se da u čvrstom stanju dolazi do tvorbe IHB veze, dok u otopini nema indikacija za postojanjem takve veze.

Abstract (english)

This study has explored the synthesis and structural characteristics of ferrocene alcohol 2 (HO2HC-Fn-NHBoc), derived by reduction of ferrocene amino acid (Fca, 1) ester group in presence of LiAlH4. In order to explore influence of derived hydroxyl group on formation of intramolecular hydrogen bond (IHB), the detailed conformational analysis (IR and NMR spectroscopy) in solution was performed. Crystallographic structure and DFT modelling of alcohol 2 in solid state were determined to explore possibility of IHB formation. It was demonstrated that ferrocene alcohol 2 was stabilized through intramolecular hydrogen bonding in solid state. In solution state, there was no data indicating the same bonding pattern.
