Abstract

Ekstrakcija bioaktivnih komponenti iz biljnih materijala primjenom visokonaponskog pražnjenja rezultira, u usporedbi s klasičnim načinima ekstrakcije, povećanim prinosima, skraćenim vremenom, manjom potrošnjom energije i manjim utroškom otapala pa ju stoga ubrajamo u „zelene” metode ekstrakcije. U ovom radu istražen je učinak visokonaponskog pražnjenja na koncentraciju klorofila a i b u talozima preostalima nakon ekstrakcije hidrofilnih komponenti listova kadulje. Koncentracija klorofila a i b u talozima određena je primjenom UV/VIS spektroskopije i pritom je utvrđeno kako u većini slučajeva izlaganje visokonaponskom pražnjenju uzrokuje smanjenja koncentracije klorofila a i b u biljnom materijalu.

Abstract (english)

Extraction of bioactive components from plant materials using high voltage discharge results in, compared to conventional extraction methods, increased yields, reduced time, less energy consumption and less solvent consumption and is therefore considered as a "green" extraction method. The effect of high voltage discharge on the concentration of chlorophylls a and b in the precipitates remaining after extraction of the hydrophilic components of sage leaves is investigated in this thesis. The concentration of chlorophyll a and b in the precipitates was determined by UV/VIS spectroscopy, and it was shown that in most cases exposure to high voltage discharge causes a decrease in the concentration of chlorophyll a and b in the plant material.
