Adherencija prema dijetoterapiji kod oboljelih od šećerne bolesti tipa 2

Abstract

Gotovo 90 % oboljelih ima oblik šećerne bolesti tip 2 koji zbog sve veće učestalosti u svijetu predstavlja ozbiljan javnozdravstveni problem. Liječenje se temelji na usvajanju pravilnih prehrambenih navika i tjelesnoj aktivnosti za koje je potrebna suradljivost oboljelih. Cilj istraživanja bio je ispitati utjecaj adherencije oboljelih od šećerne bolesti tip 2 na izbor dijabetičke dijete te utvrđivanje njihovih vrijednosti antropometrijskih i biokemijskih parametara ispitanika nakon dvije kontrole. Promatrani biokemijski i antropometrijski parametri su praćeni u tri navrata (i) prilikom dolaska u Dnevnu bolnicu, (ii) prilikom prve kontrole i (iii) prilikom druge kontrole. Analiza biokemijskih parametara pokazuje zadovoljavajuće vrijednosti HbA1c jer su se one nakon prve kontrole smanjile kod 31,58 % muškaraca i 20,52 % žena. Lipidni profil pacijenata oba spola je poboljšan nakon dvije kontrole. Analiza adherencije pokazuje najlošije rezultate za (i) dnevnu konzumaciju serviranja svježeg voća, (ii) dnevnu konzumaciju serviranja povrća i (iii) učestalost konzumiranja ribe. Analizom rezultata adherencije dobiven je i uvid kod koje skupine (dob/spol/stupanj uhranjenosti) treba dodatno pojasniti važnost prehrane i konzumacije određenih namirnica.

Abstract (english)

Almost 90 % of patients have a form of type 2 diabetes, which is a serious public health problem due to its increasing frequency in the world. Treatment is based on the acceptance of healthful eating patterns and physical activities that require the cooperation of patients. The aim of the study was to examine the impact of adherence of patients with type 2 diabetes in the selection of a diabetic diet to determine the values of anthropometric and biochemical parameters of the examinees after two controls. The analysis of biochemical parameters showed satisfactory HbA1c values because they were reduced after the first control in 31.58 % of men and 20.52 % of women. The lipid profile of both male and female patients was improved after the first and second control. The adherence analysis showed the worst results for (i) daily consumption of fresh fruit serving, (ii) daily consumption of serving vegetables and (iii) frequency of fish consumption. The analysis of adherence results also provided an insight into which groups (age/sex/nutritional status) should increase the importance of diet and consumption of certain foods.
