Abstract

U ovom radu korišten je anaerobni soj Clostridium acetobutylicum (DSM 792) za fermentativnu proizvodnju butanola u bioreaktoru sa miješalom. Tijekom bioprocesa ostvarene su koncentracije: 11.5 g/L butanola, 5.1 g/L acetona i 0.7 g/L etanola. Provedeno je uklanjanje butanola ekstrakcijom sa otapalom impregniranim česticama SIPs (Solvent Impregnated Particles). Korištene su dvije vrste čestica Amberlite XAD16 i Dowex Optipore V493 impregnirane sa tri različita otapala oleinski alkoholom, dekanolom i oktanolom. Najuspješnije uklanjanje ostvareno je sa Dowex Optipore V493 česticama impregniranim dekanolom (32,95 mg butanol/g SIPs). Provedeno je istraživanje u koloni sa nasutim slojem Dowex Optipore V493 čestica impregniranim dekanolom pri dvije različite brzine protoka (72 mL/h i 1600 mL/h). Pri nižoj brzini protoka ostvareno je bolje uklanjanje butanola (45,00 mg butanol/g SIPs).

Abstract (english)

In this paper anaerobic strain of Clostridium acetobutylicum (DSM 792) was used for the fermentative production of butanol in the stirred bioreactor. During the bioprocess concentrations of 11.0 g/L butanol, 5.1 g/L ethanol and 0.7 g/L were achieved. Extractive removal of butanol with solvent impregnated particles (SIPs) was conducted. Two kinds of particles were used Amberlite XAD16 and Dowex Optipore V493 impregnated with three different solvents oleoyl alcohol, decanol and octanol. The most successful removal was achieved with Dowex Optipore V493 particles impregnated with decanol (32.95 mg butanol/g SIPs). The research was performed in the column with fixed bed of Dowex Optipore V493 particles impregnated with decanol at two different flow rates (72 mL/h and 1600 mL/h). At a lower flow rate, better removal of butanol (45.00 mg butanol/g SIPs) was achieved.
