Abstract

Cilj ovog završnog rada je uz pomoć 21 odabranog upitnika, pronađenog putem pretraživača PubMed, Web of Science i Google Scholar prema opisanim kriterijima, donijeti zaključak o informiranosti trenera i sportaša o pravilnoj sportskoj prehrani. Rezultati sugeriraju da je znanje o općoj i sportskoj prehrani u tim skupinama generalno nisko što upućuje na potrebu za nutricionističkim edukacijama. Također, opisani su koraci izrade kvalitetnog upitnika koji može poslužiti kao glavni alat za dobivanje povratnih informacija o uspješnosti nutricionističkih intervencija i kao usmjerenje na putu prema optimiziranju zdravlja i unaprjeđenju sportske izvedbe.

Abstract (english)

The main purpose of the present bachelor thesis was to draw a conclusion about nutrition knowledge among athletes and their coaches with the help of 21 selected questionnaires, chosen from the search engines PubMed, Web of Science and Google Scholar according to the described criteria. The results show that general and sports nutrition knowledge in these groups is generally low, suggesting the need for further nutrition education. Also, the steps of creating a reliable and valid questionnaire that can serve as the main tool for obtaining feedback on the success of nutritional interventions and as a guide on the way to optimizing health and sports performance, are described further in the text.
