Abstract

Cilj ovog ispitivanja bio je procijeniti kvalitetu meda. Prikupljeno je ukupno 27 uzoraka jedanaest različitih vrsta meda: cvjetni (8), bagrem (7), lipa (2), zlatošipka (2), amorfa (2), divlja trešnja i divlja šljiva (1), kesten (1), livada (1), kadulja (1), medljikovac (1) i vrijesak (1). Sav ispitani med prikupljen je na području Republike Hrvatske u 2019. godini. U svrhu procjene kvalitete, ispitani su sljedeći fizikalno-kemijski parametri: maseni udio vode, ukupna kiselost i električna vodljivost. Utvrđene razlike u navedenim parametrima među uzorcima meda proizlaze iz različitih čimbenika, poput botaničkog podrijetla te različitih klimatskih i regionalnih uvjeta. Analiza je provedena metodama koje je propisala Međunarodna komisija za med. Obradom rezultata donesen je zaključak da većina uzoraka zadovoljava kriterije propisane Pravilnikom o medu (2015). Dva uzorka meda nisu zadovoljila kriterije za parametar električne vodljivosti.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this study was to assess the quality of honey. A total of 27 samples were collected of eleven different types of honey: flower (8), acacia (7), linden (2), goldenrod (2), amorphous (2), wild cherry and wild plum (1), chestnut (1), meadow (1), sage (1), honeydew (1) and heather honey (1). All samples were collected in the Republic of Croatia in the 2019 season. Following physico-chemical parameters were examined to assess the quality of honey samples: moisture content, total acidity and electrical conductivity. Differences in the above-mentioned parameters established among the honey samples are influenced by different factors, such as botanical origin, climate and regional circumstances. All the used methods were appointed by International Honey Commission (IHC). After conducted analysis, it was concluded that most of the samples meet the requirements of regulative. The total of 2 honey samples failed to meet the criteria for the electrical conductivity parameter.
