Abstract

Razvoj novih metoda za praćenje prehrambenog unosa rezultat je ukupnog napretka tehnologije koja mijenja način života. Digitalizacija i tehnološki napredak ubrzano ulazi u sve sfere društva, a najviše utječe na živote mladih. Aplikacija NutriMenza namijenjena je isključivo studentskoj populaciji Republike Hrvatske s ciljem olakšanja načina praćenja vlastite prehrane, u sustavu organizirane prehrane. Analizirana je aplikacija NutriMenza, njene mogućnosti, prednosti i nedostatci te pokrivenost baze podataka aplikacije sa stvarnom ponudom jela u studentskim restoranima. Iako aplikacija ima nekoliko nedostataka, oni ostavljaju prostor za napredak i poboljšanje kroz nove verzije aplikacije. Bez obzira na nedostatke, aplikacija ostaje dobar izvor korisnih informacija koje studenti mogu iskoristiti za buđenje svijesti o prehrambenom unosu i poboljšanje prehrane.

Abstract (english)

The development of new methods for monitoring dietary intake is a result of the general advancement of lifestyle-changing technology. Digitalization and technological progress are rapidly entering all spheres of society and it has the greatest impact on the lives of young people. The NutriMenza app is intended exclusively for the university students in the Republic of Croatia with aim of facilitating the way of monitoring personal diet, in the system of organized nutrition. The NutriMenza application, its possibilities, advantages and disadvantages, as well as the coverage of the application database with the actual offer of meals in student restaurants, were analyzed. Although the application has several shortcomings, they leave the room for progress, development and improvement through new versions of the application. Despite its shortcomings, the app remains a good source of useful information that students can use to raise awareness about dietary intake and to improve their diet.
