Abstract

Makrolidni antibiotici imaju važnu primjenu u stočarstvu i veterinarskoj medicini. Zbog neprikladne upotrebe antibiotika, može doći do pojavljivanja rezistentnih patogenih bakterija u intestinalnom traktu životinja koje se onda mogu prenijeti na ljude putem hrane, kontaminirane vode ili direktnim kontaktom sa životinjama. U ovom radu, ispitana je koncentracija sedamnaest makrolidnih antibiotika u 31 uzoraka mišića različitih životinja, primjenom tekućinske kromatografije visoke djelotvornosti i masene spektrometrije. Od ukupno 21 analiziranog uzorka, samo su dva uzorka bila pozitivna na ostatke ispitivanih makrolidnih antibiotika. Jedan uzorak je bio pozitivan na ostatke antibiotika tildipirozina, dok je drugi bio pozitivan na ostatke antibiotika tilozina A. Detektirane koncentracije rezidua antibiotika u navedenim uzorcima nisu bile veće od najveće dopuštene količine (NDK) propisane uredbom Europske komisije (EC) br. 37/2010.

Abstract (english)

Macrolide antibiotics have important applications in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine. Due to the inappropriate use of antibiotics, resistant pathogenic bacteria can appear in the intestines of animals, which can then be transmitted to humans through food, contaminated water or direct contact with animals. In this experiment, the concentration of seventeen macrolide antibiotics in muscle samples of different animals was examined, using high performance liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. Out of a total of 21 analyzed samples, only two samples were positive for residues of the tested macrolide antibiotics. One sample was positive for tildipyrosine residues, while the other was positive for tylosin A residues. The detected concentrations of antibiotic residues in these samples did not exceed the maximum residue levels (MRL) prescribed by the European Commission Regulation (EC) no. 37/2010.
