Abstract

Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi moguće promjene prehrambenih navika u zdravih žena tijekom trudnoće. Podaci su prikupljeni anketnim upitnikom dizajniranim za potrebe ovog istraživanja. Istraživanjem je obuhvaćeno deset ispitanica prosječne dobi 31godinu koje su dobrovoljno ispunile anketni upitnik. Iz dobivenih rezultata, unatoč malom uzorku može se zaključiti kako su glavne promjene prehrambenog ponašanja uzrokovane pojavom mučnine i povraćanja u prvom tromjesečju trudnoće što je rezultiralo većim unosom ugljikohidrata u 60% ispitanica. Ostali uzroci promjene prehrambenog ponašanja bili su razvoj gestacijskog dijabetesa u prijašnjoj trudnoći, želja za „zdravijom“ hranom, te želja za „fast food“ hranom. Ispitanice su negirale želju za slatkim. Pedeset posto ispitanica uzimalo je dodatke prehrani namjenjene trudnicama, dok je 70% njih odgovorilo kako ne zna ulogu folne kiseline u razvoju fetusa.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this study was to determine possible changes in food habits in healthy women during pregnancy. Data were collected throug questionnaire designed for this survey. The survey included ten women with an average age of 31 years who voluntarily filled in the questionnaire. From the results obtained, despite the small sample, it can be concluded that the major changes in food behavior were caused by nausea and vomiting in the first trimester of pregnancy resulting in a higher carbohydrate intake to 60% of the respondants. Other causes of changes in food behavior were the development of gestational diabetes in a previous pregnancy, desire for "healthier" food, and the desire for "fast food". Respondents denied the desire for sweets. Fifty percent of respondents had been taking dietary supplements for pregnant women, while 70% said they did not know the role of folic acid in the fetal growth during pregnancy.
