Abstract

Napredno biološko uklanjanje fosfora je važan disimilatorni proces u okolišu kojim se uklanja fosfor iz otpadnih voda. Proces se odvija kroz anaerobne, aerobne i anoksiĉne uvjete (u kojima dolazi do denitrifikacije). Na proces utjeĉu razni ĉimbenici kao što su: temperatura, pH-vrijednost, prisutnost otopljenog kisika, kompeticija mikroorganizama, izvori ugljika i dr. Kao izvori ugljika koriste se acetati, propionati, glukoza, alkoholi, glicerol i dr. Mikroorganizmi koji sudjeluju u procesu uklanjanja fosfora i dušika su fosfor akumulirajući organizmi, nitrifikanti, denitrifikanti, filamentozni organizmi, fermentativni mikroorganizmi, organizmi koji provode hidrolizu i dr. Proces je najekonomiĉniji ako se uz uklanjanje fosfora odvija i denitrifikacija, te se procesi ovisno o izvedbi dijele na procese sa preddenitrifikacijom i postdenitrifikacijom.

Abstract (english)

Enhanced biological phosphorus removal (EBPR) is important dissimilatory process in environment in which phosphorus is removed from wastewater. Process goes through anaerobic, aerobic and anoxic conditions (in which denitrification takes part). Process is affected by different parameters such as: temeperature, pH, the presence of dissolved oxygene, competition between microorganisms, carbon sources, etc. Acetate, propionate, glucose, alcohols, glycerol and other are used as carbon sources. Microorganisms which are involved in phosphorus and nitrogen removal process are phosphorus removal organisms, nitrificants, denitrificants, filamentous organisms, fermentative organisms, hydrolysing organisms and other. Process is most economical if phosphorus removal and denitrification take part simultaneously, and as such can be performed as process with predenitrification and process with postdenitrification.
