Abstract

Trudnoća je specifično razdoblje u životu žene. Poznato je da način života, posebice loše životne navike mogu imati loš utjecaj na ishod trudnoće i zdravlje djeteta. Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi postoje li i koje su promjene u prehrambenom ponašanju tijekom trudnoće u odnosu na razdoblje prije trudnoće. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 116 ispitanica koje su unutar 45 dana ispunile upitnik putem interneta. Ispitanice su bile u dobi od 18 do 39 godina. Najviše ispitanica (43,6%) bilo je u drugom tromjesečju trudnoće. Od 29,1% ispitanica pušačica njih 21,7% nastavilo je pušiti i tijekom trudnoće, a dodatke prehrani uzimalo je 83,8% ispitanica. Promjene u unosu tekućine tijekom trudnoće zabilježilo je 53,0% ispitanica. Kod trudnica pušačica nije pronađena statistička značajnost između prirasta na tjelesnoj masi i broju cigareta. S obzirom na cilj istraživanja možemo zaključiti da u ispitanica dolazi do promjena prehrambenih navika tijekom trudnoće što je vidljivo u smanjenju broja ispitanica pušačica koje su nastavile pušiti tijekom trudnoće, povećanju ukupnog unosa tekućine te uzimanju dodataka prehrani.

Abstract (english)

Pregnancy is a specific time in a woman's life. It is well known that lifestyle, and particularly poor lifestyle habits, can affect the outcome of the pregnancy badly as well as the health of the child. The aim of this research is to establish if there are any changes in nutritional habits during pregnancy with regard to the habits before pregnancy, and what those were. 116 pregnant women participated in the research and have filled out an on-line questionnaire in the course of 45 days. The participants were from the ages of 18 to 39. Most of the participants (43.6%) were in their second trimester. 29.1% of the participants were smokers and 21.7% of them continued smoking throughout the pregnancy. Dietary supplements were taken by 83.8% of the participants. Changes in fluid intake were recorded by 53.0% of the participants. No statistical significance was found to link weight gain and number of cigarettes smoked among pregnant women who smoked during pregnancy. In regard to the aim of the research, we can conclude that the participants have changed their nutritional habits during pregnancy, which is visible in the reduction of the number of participants who smoked, increase of total fluid intake and taking dietary supplements.
