Abstract

Karcinomi su jedni od vodećih uzročnika smrti u svijetu. Nastanak je karcinoma kompleksan proces u koji su uključeni brojni molekularni mehanizmi. Uzročnici karcinoma mogu biti kemijski mutageni, onkogeni virusi ili pak UV zračenje. Oni djeluju na DNA, uzrokuju promjene na genima te tako aktiviraju njihov onkogeni potencijal ili inaktiviraju njihovu tumor supresijsku ulogu

Abstract (english)

Cancers are one of the leading causes of death in the world. Cancer causes of cancer can be chemical mutagens, oncogenic viruses or UV radiation. They act on DNA, cause changes in gene thus activating their oncogenic potential or inactivate their tumor suppressive role.
