Abstract

U ovom radu opisani su sinteza i konformacijska svojstva ferocenskih peptida III [Ac-Ala-Fn-Ala-Y; Y = Boc (5), Y=Ac (6)] koji su izvedeni kondenzacijom ferocen-1,1'-diamina (Fcda) i L-alanina. Da bi se ispitala uloga Fcda i pri tvorbi IHB kao i utjecaj zaštitnih skupina (Ac i Boc) na konformacijski prostor koji peptidi 5 i 6 poprimaju u otopini, provedena je spektroskopska analiza (IR-, 1H NMR- i CD-spektroskopija) i DFT-modeliranje, dok je za peptid 5 određena i kristalografska struktura. Pokazalo se da su konjugati III stabilizirani interlančanim vodikovim vezama, dok zamjena voluminozne Boc-zaštitne skupine s Ac-skupinom nije dovela do većih konformacisjkih promjena.

Abstract (english)

This study has explored the synthesis and structural characteristics of ferrocene peptides III [Ac-Ala-Fn-Ala-Y; Y = Boc (5), Y=Ac (6)], derived by condensation of ferrocene-1,1'-diamine (Fcda) and L-alanine. In order to explore influence of diamine, as well as effects of protecting groups (Ac, Boc) on the conformational space of the derived ferrocene diamines 5 and 6, the detailed conformational analysis (IR, 1H NMR and CD spectroscopy, DFT calculations) was performed. Crystallographic structure of peptide 5 was determined. It was demonstrated that conjugates III were stabilized through interchain hydrogen bonding, while the replacement of the bulky Boc group with an Ac group did not cause major conformational changes.
