Abstract

U ovom radu opisani su postupci uklanjanja antibiotika iz otpadnih voda i njihov štetni utjecaj na okoliš. Otpadne vode nastaju korištenjem vode u razne svrhe, pri čemu se mijenja fizikalni, kemijski i mikrobiološki sastav vode. Antibiotici u okoliš u najvećoj mjeri dospijevaju kroz fekalne otpadne vode te neadekvatnim zbrinjavanjem antibiotika. Neke od brojnih metoda uklanjanja antibiotika iz otpadnih voda su bioelektrokemijski sustavi, biotički i abiotički procesi te Fenton proces. Cilj ovog rada je opisati učinkovite metode uklanjanja antibiotika iz voda i utjecaj zaostalih antibiotika u vodi na okoliš, s naglaskom na otpadne vode. Jedna od glavnih mjera zbrinjavanja antibiotika u okolišu je njihova adekvatna upotreba i pravilno skladištenje njihovih ostataka.

Abstract (english)

This paper describes methods for removing antibiotics from wastewater and their harmful impact on the environment. Wastewater is created by using water for various purposes, which changes the physical, chemical, and microbiological composition of the water. Antibiotics reach the environment to the greatest extent through faecal wastewater and by inadequate antibiotic disposal. Some of the numerous methods of removing antibiotics from wastewater are bioelectrochemical systems, biotic and abiotic processes, and Fenton process. The aim of this paper is to describe effective methods of removing antibiotics from water and the impact of residual antibiotics in water, with emphasis on wastewater. One of the main measures for disposal of antibiotics in the environment is their adequate use and proper storage of their residues.
