Abstract

Bubrezi imaju različite uloge u održavanju homeostaze organizma. Odgovorni su za filtriranje krvi, uklanjanje otpada i viška tekućine. S obzirom na njihovu važnost u organizmu potrebno se pobrinuti za njihovo održavanje. Unos proteina je ključan faktor u održavanju zdravlja bubrega i za tretiranje bolesti i stanja bubrega. Količina unosa je izrazito specifična te individualna ovisno o potrebama pojedinca. Također kvaliteta te izvor proteina igraju značajnu ulogu u njihovom utjecaju na bubrege. Cilj ovog rada je pomoću konceptualnih modela prikazati i približiti najbitnije činjenice o unosu proteina za pojedine bolesti i stanja bubrega

Abstract (english)

The kidneys have various roles in maintaining the body's homeostasis. They are responsible for blood filtration, waste removal, and excess fluid elimination. Given their significance in the body, it is necessary to take care of their maintenance. Protein intake is a crucial factor in kidney health maintenance, as well as in the treatment of kidney diseases and conditions. The amount of intake is highly specific and individualized based on individual needs. Additionally, the quality and source of proteins play a significant role in their impact on the kidneys. The aim of this study is to use conceptual models to present and elucidate the most important facts about protein intake for specific kidney diseases and conditions.
