Abstract

U ovom radu provedena je analiza modela metabolizma vitamina D korištenjem računalnog programa CellDesigner pri čemu je određivan status vitamina D. Simulacije modela provedene su koristeći različite početne vrijednosti vitamina D iz hrane koje su dobivene iz jelovnika izrađenih u okviru ovog rada – jelovnik mediteranske prehrane, jelovnik s hranom bogatom vitaminom D, jelovnik s obogaćenom hranom i plan suplementacije. Model uspješno simulira promjenu koncentracije vitamina D i njegovih metabolita. Rezultati pokazuju da suplementacija ima najbolju učinkovitost u liječenju nedostatka vitamina D. Analizom lokalne parametarske osjetljivosti uočeno je da su parametri brzine stvaranja te brzine razgradnje 25-hidroksivitamina D (25(OH)D₃) najosjetljiviji parametri, a primijećeno je i da koncentracija 1,25-dihidroksivitamina D (1,25(OH)₂D₃) nije u potpunosti ovisna o unosu vitamina D prehranom.

Abstract (english)

Analysis of vitamin D metabolism model was performed using the CellDesigner software which was used to determine the vitamin D status. Simulations of the constructed model were conducted using different initial values of dietary vitamin D, obtained from different menus created for the purposes of thesis – Mediterranean diet menu, vitamin D-rich foods menu fortified foods menu and the supplementation plan. Model successfully simulates metabolism of vitamin D and its metabolites. The results show that dietary supplementation is the most effective in the treatment of vitamin D deficiency. Based on the analysis of local parameter sensitivity, it was concluded that the rate of formation and the rate of degradation of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D₃) were estimated to be the most sensitive parameters. It was also observed that the concentration of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D (1,25(OH)₂D₃) was not completely dependent on dietary intake of vitamin D.
