Abstract

U ovom radu istražen je proces denitrificirajuće defosfatacije s acetatom kao izvorom ugljika i nitritom kao akceptorom elektrona pri omjeru N/P 1 i pri omjeru C/N 2, 3 i 4. Organski sastojci su uklonjeni u svim pokusima pri sličnoj brzini. Nitrit je potpuno denitrificiran u svim pokusima, a uklanjanje nitrita se odvijalo pri dvije brzine: pri višoj brzini s acetatom kao vanjskim izvorom ugljika, i pri nižoj brzini s unutarstaničnim zalihama ugljika. Uklanjanje fosfata se također odvijalo pri dvije brzine. Učinkovitost uklanjanja fosfata je rasla s porastom omjera C/N, međutim, istraženi omjeri C/N nisu osigurali dovoljnu količinu organskih sastojaka za potpuno uklanjanje fosfata.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis, the process of denitrifying dephosphatation with acetate as a carbon source and nitrite as an electron acceptor was investigated at an N/P ratio of 1 and at a C/N ratio of 2, 3 and 4. Organic compounds were removed in all experiments at a similar rate. Nitrite was completely denitrified in all experiments, and nitrite removal occurred at two rates: at a higher rate with acetate as an external carbon source, and at a lower rate with intracellular carbon storage. Phosphate removal also occurred at two rates. Phosphate removal efficiency increased with increasing C/N ratio, however, the investigated C/N ratios did not provide a sufficient amount of organics for complete phosphate removal.
