Abstract

Biotehnološka proizvodnja biokemikalija i goriva iz obnovljivih supstrata i sirovina s pomoću plijesni predstavljaju zanimljivu alternativu kemijskim procesima proizvodnje biokemikalija i goriva. U ovom radu je istražena mogućnost rasta plijesni T. terrestris CBS 45675, B. dothidea JCM 2738, F. oxysporum JCM 9293 i F. verticillioides JCM 23107 na podlogama s različitim izvorima ugljika (glukoza, fruktoza, saharoza (melasa), ksiloza, celobioza i arabinoza) i izvorima dušika (kvaščev i mesni ekstrakt, pepton i kukuruzna močevina) za proizvodnju različitih biokemikalija. Nakon preliminarnih eksperimenata kao radni mikroorganizam odabran je F. oxysporum JCM 9293. Ova plijesan u testiranim podlogama proizvela je etanol, octenu kiselinu, manitol, eritrol i ksilitol pri različitim brojevima okretaja (50, 100 i 200 o/min). Uzgojem u bioreaktoru plijesan F. oxysporum JCM 9293 proizvela je ksilitol (0,8 g/L), glicerol (1,01 g/L) i etanol (0,28 g/L). Ujedno je proizvedeno 5,12 g/L biomase, a udio masnih kiselina u biomasi plijesni iznosio je 9,51 %.

Abstract (english)

Biotechnological production of biochemicals and fuels from renewable substrates and raw materials by molds represents an attractive alternative to chemical processes for the production of biochemicals and fuels. This paper explores the possibility of growing molds T. terrestris CBS 45675, B. dothidea JCM 2738, F. oxysporum JCM 9293, and F. verticillioides JCM 23107 in media with different carbon sources (glucose, fructose, sucrose (molasses), xylose, cellobiose, and arabinose) and nitrogen sources (yeast and meat extract, peptone, and corn steep liquor) for the production of various biochemicals. After preliminary experiments, F. oxysporum JCM 9293 was selected as the working microorganism. This mold produced ethanol, acetic acid, mannitol, erythritol, and xylitol in the tested media at different rotation rates (50, 100, and 200 rpm). By cultivation in a bioreactor, the mold F. oxysporum JCM 9293 produced xylitol (0.8 g/L), glycerol (1.01 g/L) and ethanol (0.28 g/L). In addition, 5.12 g/L of biomass was produced, and the fatty acid content of the mold biomass was 9.51 %.
