Abstract

Ključni zadatak projekta je konstruirati uređaj za pametne telefone („smartphone“) koji je u mogućnosti služiti kao prijenosni spektrofotometar. Uređaj mora biti sposoban detektirati i odrediti koncentraciju teških metala u otopini uz pomoć enzimskog sustava. Također, uređaj se konstruira u CAD programu nakon čega se datoteka izveze u obliku prilagođenom za 3D printer u kojemu se konačni model materijalizira. U istraživanju su testirane mjerne sposobnosti uređaja, kao što su mogućnost određivanja kinetičkih parametara poput Km, vmax, IC vrijednosti te su određene granice osjetljivosti uređaja koncentraciju teških metala. Kao referentne vrijednosti za usporedbu su uzeti rezultati sa standardnog laboratorijskog spektrofotometra.

Abstract (english)

The key objective of the project is to construct a smartphone based device, which is capable to serve as a portable spectrophotometer. The device must be able to detect and determine the concentration of heavy metals in a solution with an enzyme-based assay. Also, the device is constructed in a CAD program from which later on the data is exported in a 3D-printer adjusted format in which finally it is materialized. In the research the measuring capabilities of the device were tested, such as the possibility of determining kinetic parameters as Km, vmax, IC values and the limits of heavy metal concentration detection were determined. As referent comparison values, the results from the standard laboratory spectrophotometer, were taken.
