Abstract

Kozmetička industrija i njezino tržište stalno rastu i prilagođavaju se potrebama potrošača koji žele sigurne i učinkovite proizvode. U tu svrhu kozmetička industrija koristi aktivne sastojke s višenamjenskim svojstvima (antioksidansi, anti-age, foto-zaštitni, protuupalni, antimikrobni, ...). Međutim, ti su spojevi općenito osjetljivi na različite vanjske čimbenike kao što su svjetlost, temperatura, kisik i pH, što može dovesti do njihove degradacije. Stoga se kontinuirano provode istraživanja kako bi se razvila inovativna rješenja za zaštitu ovih aktivnih sastojaka i održavanje njihove učinkovitosti. Aktivni sastojci poput retinola, vitamina C, niacinamida, hijaluronske kiseline i salicilne kiseline imaju važnu ulogu u proizvodima za njegu kože zbog svojih višenamjenskih svojstava. Svaki od tih spojeva ima posebnu kemijsku strukturu i svojstva koja utječu na njihovu primjenu. U ovom će se radu detaljno proučiti kemijska struktura, biološka aktivnost, izolacija i sinteza svakog od navedenih spojeva, kao i njihova primjena u proizvodima koji se koriste za njegu kože. Cilj je ovog rada dati pregled dostupne literature o izolaciji, sintezi i važnosti ovih aktivnih sastojaka.

Abstract (english)

The cosmetics industry market is constantly growing and adapting to the needs of consumers who want safe and effective products. To this end, the cosmetics industry uses active ingredients with multiple properties (antioxi dants, anti-ageing, photoprotective, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, etc). However, these compounds are generally sensitive to various external factors such as light, temperature, oxygen and pH, which can lead to their degradation. Therefore, research is ongoing to develop innovative solutions to protect these active ingredients and maintain their effectiveness. Active ingredients such as retinol, vitamin C, niacin amide, hyaluronic acid and salicylic acid play an important role in skin care products due to their versa tile properties. Each of these compounds has a specific chemical structure and properties that influence their application. In this thesis, the chemical structure, biological activity, isolation and synthesis of each of the compounds mentioned and their applications in skin care products will be examined in detail. The aim of this thesis is to provide an overview of the available literature on the isolation, synthesis and signifi cance of these active ingredients.
