Abstract

Zbog raširene primjene antibiotika u veterinarskoj medicini određivanje rezidua antibiotika u uzorcima životinjskog podrijetla, postalo je nužnim u svrhu zaštite krajnjih potrošača i sprječavanja širenja antibiotičke rezistencije. Kontrola ostataka antibiotika i najveće dopuštene količine (NDK) antibiotika u mlijeku regulirane su na razini Europske unije. U državama Europske unije u veterinarske svrhe potroši se 3494 tone antimikrobnih lijekova, od čega su 43 tone fluorokinoloni. Cilj ovog rada bio je odrediti koncentracije ostataka (rezidua) flumekina u različitim uzorcima mlijeka. Koncentracija flumekina u uzorcima je određivana ELISA metodom. Prema dobivenim rezultatima, niti u jednom ispitanom uzorku određena koncentracija flumekina nije prelazila vrijednost najveće dopuštene količine (NDK) za flumekin propisane Uredbom Europske komisije 37/2010 o najvećoj dopuštenoj količini (NDK) ostataka antibiotika u hrani životinjskog podrijetla. Također je pokazano da je ELISA pouzdana metoda za određivanje rezidua flumekina u uzorcima hrane životinjskog podrijetla. Da su uzorci bili pozitivni na flumekin, u tom bi slučaju bilo potrebno primjeniti jednu od metoda za potvrdu kao što su LC–MS/MS i GC–MS/MS.

Abstract (english)

Due to the widespread usage of antibiotics in veterinary medicine, determination of antibiotics residues in samples of animal origin has become necessary in order to protect the consumers and prevent the spread of antibiotic resistance. The control of antibiotic residues and maximum residue limit (MRL) of antibiotics in milk are regulated at EU level. 3,494 tons of antimicrobial drugs, out of which 43 tons fluoroquinolones are consumed in European Union countries for veterinary purposes. The aim of this study was to determine the concentrations of flumekin remains (residues) in different milk samples. The concentration of flumekin in the samples was determined by ELISA method. According to the results, in none of the samples examined did the concentration of flumekin exceed the value of the maximum residue limit (MRL) for flumekin prescribed by the Commission Regulation 37/2010 on the maximum residue limit (MRL) of antibiotic residues in food of animal origin. It is also shown that the ELISA is a reliable method for determination of flumekin residues in food samples of animal origin. If the samples were positive for flumekin, it would be necessary to apply one of the methods for verification such as LC-MS / MS and GC-MS / MS
