Abstract

Sekvencionalni biološki reaktor, SBR, je nadograđeni konvencionalni sustav pročišćavanja otpadnih voda s aktivnim muljem. U odnosu na konvencionalni način obrade otpadne vode, cijeli ciklus obrade SBR-a se odvija u istom spremniku-bazenu. Osnovu SBR sustava čine: bazen, oprema za aeraciju i miješanje, sustav za dekantiranje te kontrolni sustav nadzora i upravljanja procesima i fazama obrade otpadne vode. Rad SBR-a se temelji na principu punjenja i pražnjenja, sastoji se od 5 povezanih faza: punjenje, obrada, taloženje, dekantiranje i mirovanje. Biološka obrada pomoću SBR-a se pokazala kao jednom od najuspješnijih, osobito u uklanjanju dušika iz otpadne vode promijenjivog sastava.

Abstract (english)

Sequencing batch reactor, SBR, is modified conventional system used for waste water treatment with activated sludge. In contrast with the conventional waste water treatment, the entire SBR process is done in only one tank-basin. The foundation of SBR waste water treatment is the basin, aeration and mixing equipment, system for decanting process and surveillance mechanism for controlling the phases of waste water processing. The SBR method of waste water treatment is based on the process of fill and draw and it is comprised of 5 linked phases: Fill, React, Settle, Decant and Idle.Biological treatment of water using SBR has proved to be one of the best wastewater treatment processes, especially in cases of nitrogen removalfrom a waste water with variable content.
